ENERGY SURVEYS
Corporate energy surveys are important for companies because they allow them to comprehensively evaluate their energy consumption and energy efficiency. Such assessments help to optimize energy consumption, reduce costs and achieve sustainability goals. The following areas are affected during energy surveys:
-
Collection of energy consumption data
-
Identification of processes and equipment
-
Evaluation of energy losses
-
Energy efficiency assessment
-
Cost and savings analysis
-
Technological and operational proposals
-
Achieving sustainability goals

CORPORATE CO2 FOOTPRINT DEFINITION
CARBONAUDITE
The authentic mapping of the carbon footprint of companies and organizations based on scientific and professional grounds, as well as the promotion of the reduction of the carbon footprint. Bureau Veritas and the University of Sopron's decades of experience provide a solid background for specialized calculations related to organizations, activities, and products. During the impact assessments carried out with software support, the calculation of environmental footprints (e.g. carbon footprint, water footprint, phosphorus footprint, etc.) is carried out in the most comprehensive way possible, from "cradle to cradle", i.e. life cycle approach (LCA).
Based on the requirements of the international carbon footprint calculation standards and standardized GHG conversion coefficients, our group of experts has developed the system of criteria needed to determine the carbon footprint. Based on this know-how, we are able to determine the carbon footprint of the organization, project or product (based on direct and indirect GHG emission areas), which we can effectively reduce and compensate for CO2 by including the project elements offered by our company.

CORPORATE CO2 FOOTPRINT CERTIFICATE
Value for a company is a complex concept and depends on many factors. The value can be approached from a financial, economic, social or environmental point of view. A company's value is partly determined by its financial performance, i.e. its revenue, profit and liquidity, but its value can also be influenced by brand reputation, the quality of customer relations, innovation capabilities, employee satisfaction and sustainability measures.
A Corporate CO2 Footprint Certificate is a document or certificate that shows the amount of greenhouse gases (such as carbon dioxide) emitted by a company. This measurement and certification enables companies to see transparently how much carbon dioxide they produce during their activities, and thereby recognize opportunities to reduce emissions.
The Corporate CO2 Footprint certificate can be useful for several reasons:
-
Environmental responsibility: Companies take responsibility by monitoring and reducing their negative impact on the environment.
-
Legal requirements: In some countries and regions, companies are required to disclose their emissions and sustainability measures.
-
Brand enhancement: Striving for sustainability and environmental protection can positively influence a company's image and reputation in the eyes of conscious consumers.
-
Business opportunities: Companies have the opportunity to find new business opportunities by offering sustainable products and services.
-
Financial savings: Efficient energy use and reduced emissions can result in financial savings in the long term.
It is not mandatory to prepare the Corporate CO2 Footprint certificate outside of EUR ETS-obligated companies. However, more and more companies are choosing to voluntarily take responsibility for their environmental impact, thereby increasing their social and business value. Legislation and regulations may vary from country to country, so it is worth checking the local or international regulations affecting the company's activities.

CSRD CERTIFICATE
In November 2022, the European Parliament adopted the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD), which amends the previously effective Non-Financial Reporting Directive (NFRD). CSRD supports the package of policy measures called the European Green Deal, which aims to transform the EU into a modern, resource-efficient and competitive economy by overcoming the climate crisis, reducing the net emissions of greenhouse gases to zero by 2050.
Scope of the CSRD Directive
The CSRD significantly expands the scope of the currently effective NFRD, extending it to a much wider range of companies.
EU companies
The CSRD covers all companies listed on the regulated markets of the EU, with the exception of micro-enterprises listed on the stock exchange.
The CSRD also applies to large companies that either operate on the EU market or are subsidiaries of non-EU companies operating in the EU.

ISO CERTIFICATES OF CONFORMITY
Standards developed and published by ISO (International Organization for Standardization) are basically collections of guidelines and procedures aimed at increasing the efficiency of business processes, improving quality, promoting environmental sustainability and introducing safety standards. Obtaining and maintaining ISO certifications can bring many benefits to companies:
-
Better Quality Products and Services: ISO standards address quality management, processes and systems, enabling companies to meet stricter quality standards. As a result, they can produce better quality products or services that can result in satisfied customers.
-
Increased Efficiency: ISO standards emphasize efficient processes and systems. By following such guidelines, companies have the opportunity to make work processes more efficient, minimize unnecessary waste of time and reduce costs.
-
Increases Competitiveness: ISO certificates are proof of conformity in terms of correctness in the market and compliance with standards. This can increase the credibility and competitiveness of companies in the eyes of potential customers and partners.
-
Better Business Relations: Many business partners or suppliers are attracted to companies that have the appropriate ISO certifications. Such partnerships are easier to form because ISO standards show that companies can operate in line with industry expectations.
-
Continuous Development: ISO standards require the establishment of a culture of continuous development and improvement. Companies must regularly review their processes and systems, which in the long term allows for increased innovation and efficiency.
-
Environmental Protection and Sustainability: ISO standards include environmental protection and sustainability standards. Adhering to them helps companies reduce their ecological footprint and has a positive impact on their environmental performance.
-
Better Internal Communication and Cooperation: The introduction of ISO certificates can also help in general because it unifies the company's internal processes and communication. Guidelines and expectations make it clear how to operate, thereby reducing the potential for misunderstandings.
It is important to note that obtaining and maintaining ISO certifications is not an easy task and can require regular time and resources. However, the benefits may outweigh the effort and costs invested in the long run.
